An inspection tour of the committee of electronic testing centers at the Supreme Council of Universities at Faculty of Al-Alsun

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, received a high-ranking delegation of the Business Committee of Electronic Examination Centers of the Supreme Council of Universities, with the membership of Dr. Karim Emara, representative of the Supreme Council of Universities and a consultant for the project, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Yasser Megahid, Director of the University's Engineering Consulting Center, Prof. Hazem Al-Daly, Architectural Consultant, Dr. Islam Hegazy, Director of the University's Information Network, in the presence of Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and a group of faculty members and the assisting body.

Where the committee made an inspection tour of the college's new examination halls, which are scheduled to open soon under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, where 3 halls with a capacity of 780 students were equipped in a record time that took 22 days, on a world-class style, equipped with the latest digital technologies to develop the educational process, allowing for full paper and electronic exams to be conducted simultaneously.

         
   
         

As Prof.Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, does not spare any effort in providing all the requirements that the college needs to develop the educational process to keep pace with the latest scientific methods in international universities, and to simulate international technological universities on Egyptian lands, with the aim of opening new horizons for new programs by means of global educational technological tools for Egyptian and foreign students at the University Ain Shams, and explained that the area of ​​the halls is 2,200 meters, where what was existing was removed, new floors were made, 4 toilets were constructed, rooms were built for the information network, control systems and sound systems, in addition to firefighting systems, 780 digital points in the seats, ceilings. Gypsum, fireproof exit gates.

She explained that these halls are environmentally friendly as they are equipped with an energy-saving vrp air conditioning system, as well as a 4000 kelvin natural LED lighting system, as this was implemented during 22 working days by 350 workers 24 hours a day.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Yasser Megahid, director of the engineering consulting center at the university, that the equipment was implemented according to the specifications set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for electronic exams at the level of Egyptian universities, where the Ministry of Higher Education supplies computers so that the student can take the exam electronically, adding that it will be prepared Hybrid exam halls, for both regular and electronic exams, can accommodate seven thousand students at Ain Shams University campus, ending at the beginning of the next academic year.
