Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, during his inspection tour, said that an ambitious integrated development plan was drawn up by specialized professors and with full follow-up by Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Metiny (President of the University) includes several stages to raise the efficiency of the printing press at its various levels, develop the infrastructure, supply it with equipment and modern printing machines, train and develop the administrative and technical apparatus to achieve tangible results on the ground and transform it into a competitive production edifice in the Egyptian printing market, whether at the level of industry quality or cost.

His Excellency also stated that the first phase of the development plan was implemented by supplying the printing press with three modern machines. Their availability achieves a qualitative leap in the level of the printing press production, which are: a digital printing machine in the digital printing department, a sealing machine, and a “ctp” separator in the “offset” printing department, as well as getting rid of all the machines that have worn out and broke down some time ago, in cooperation with the Government Services Authority, to make way for the rest of the comprehensive development.
