The annual conference of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, the Digestive System and the Liver recommended not to postpone the operations of liver transplantation while taking all precautionary measures, and also recommended the necessity of emphasizing the importance of awareness and early prediction of colon tumors and conducting a plan for that and dealing with cases of gastrointestinal bleeding , patient preparation and the use of modern means to deal with these cases, whether bleeding ulcers or varicose veins of the stomach and esophagus.

The conference, which lasted for 3 days, was opened by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shawky El-Metiny, President of Ain Shams University, and Mr. Wang Shengang, Chinese Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ramadan Paddar Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, Ain Shams Medicine and President of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, Digestive System and Hepatology.
