Six research papers win a grant from the Ministry of Social Solidarity for “Super Incubators"

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol for "scientifically super incubators in public universities" signed between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Sharia Association, Ain Shams University, headed and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, supervised by Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Jehan Ragab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development, a committee to select the best postgraduate research to obtain a grant from the Ministry of Social Solidarity to support and finance outstanding students, where a scientific seminar was held to present the research papers submitted by 20 researchers and postgraduate researchers (masters and PhD) from five practical faculties (medicine, engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, science), this is headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture with a membership and attended by Dr. Salah Hashem, Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity, Mr. Mustafa Ismail, Secretary of the Sharia Society and in charge of funding for solidarity grants Prof .Dr. Mohamed Rajaa Al-Satouhi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Amr Saad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Rehab Othman, Professor and Head of Pharmaceutics Department, Faculty of Pharmacy.

The committee decided to choose 6 research projects (two researches from the Faculty of Agriculture, one from the Faculty of Medicine, one from the Faculty of Science, one from the Faculty of Engineering, one from the Faculty of Pharmacy).

In his speech, Dr. Salah Hashem reviewed the activities of the University's Social Solidarity Unit, among which is the "Super Incubators" project, which aims to provide grants and support for outstanding students with the aim of promoting scientific research and working on implementing their research on the ground, in a way that benefits society as a whole, by funding research and converting them to projects that can be implemented or provide a product beneficial to society.

He explained that the grant provides a monthly salary to the first master's researchers at the rate of one thousand pounds per month for a year from the registration of the research and 2000 pounds per month for two years from the date of registration for the doctoral researcher with facilitating the opening of a bank account in Nasser Social Bank for those under the age of 21 years to transfer the monthly support to his account, This is in addition to funding of 25 thousand pounds for one research project.

         
   
         

In addition, a comprehensive health system is provided for the superiors and their families with facilitating their attendance at workshops and conferences that enable them to carry out their research efficiently and accomplished.

He also reviewed the activities of the University's Social Solidarity Unit, which guarantees the provision of study and accommodation expenses in university cities, as well as the dispensing of compensatory devices, 211 laptops for the visually impaired and a white stick, as well as the availability of escorts to help people of determination, as well as the fight against and treatment of addiction free of charge in the centers affiliated to the Ministry, which cost up to 5,000 EGP per month, as well as providing programs for students to volunteer for training in national projects.

It is scheduled that this stage will be followed by a second stage for selecting the top performers from researchers and students of theoretical faculties.
