Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, conveyed a message of thanks and appreciation from the President to the families of the martyrs of the medical sector in university hospitals, during which they affirmed that “all the heroic martyrs will remain in the mind and heart of Egypt and that Egypt will never forget Her heroes who sacrificed for her people.”
This came during the visit of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, to the families of some doctors who sacrificed their lives while doing their work in Ain Shams University hospitals, and they are: Prof. Dr. Hani Ali Rifat, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Amira Mohamad Mounir, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Iman Saleh Al-Hadidi, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hala Mahmoud Abaza, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hussein Abdel-Hafez Al-Khatib, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Medicine; In appreciation of their sacrifices, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, expressed the sincere sympathy and appreciation of the university family to the doctors who, with their sacrifices, struck the most wonderful examples of nobility and sincerity while carrying out their role in treating people with Covid 19 virus and did not spare themselves or their knowledge in the way of treating patients.

It is worth noting that 2500 meters were allocated for the work of the first botanical garden at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University for the martyrs of the White Army, and the garden includes 200 fruitful trees characterized by diversity and rarity, including: "mango - pomegranate - papaya - cocoa - orange - lemon - berries." where the name of the martyrs was launched on these trees to commemorate their good memory and ongoing charity on their pure souls, in addition to a mural representing the martyrs of doctors who sacrificed their lives in order to treat the patients of the Covid 19 pandemic.
