In continuation of the General Command's keenness to support the educational system in Egyptian universities, exchange scientific expertise and achieve the highest levels of fruitful cooperation in various fields, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority to benefit from its practical and applied experiences in implementing projects as a house of expertise in many Of the engineering fields and specialties, in the presence of Major General Staff of war/ Ihab Muhammad Al-Far, Chairman of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Prof. Mahmoud El-Metiny, President of Ain Shams University, and a number of faculty members.
The protocol was signed by Major General A.H. / Ihab Muhammad Al-Far, head of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces, and Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Facultty of Engineering.
The protocol includes training students of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in the sites of implementing major national projects of the Engineering Authority and benefiting from experiences in coordinating cooperation to reach those goals, as the authority works according to a scientific vision and applies the latest international technologies in its projects, in addition to training members of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority on techniques Recent studies in the various engineering fields related to the scope of the Authority's work through focused training courses in the field of technical support and engineering consultancy, as well as structural design and electromechanical studies, in addition to defining training activities and intellectual property.
This comes from the armed forces ’keenness to enhance the horizons of cooperation in the mechanisms of the comprehensive educational and research process, which will have implications for promoting the comprehensive development plan in Egypt and supporting the various state agencies in its implementation.
