The meeting witnessed the administration of credit hour programs Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khalil, Director of Interdisciplinary Credit Hours Programs, Prof. Dr. Tamer Samir, International Education Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Gamal Hashem, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Engineering, program coordinators, faculty members, and students from the awarded programs.
Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, said that the meeting witnessed sessions to discuss the adoption of the four programs, and the strengthening of the international agreements concluded and mechanisms of work in the programs and quality systems and continuous development were discussed. Development and discussion.
After that, the delegation made a virtual tour of all the laboratories and workshops of the Faculty and the library.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, said that the agreement stipulates that students of the dual degree awarding programs are treated as British students with all rights and duties for students registered at the University in London, and they have the right to use digital resources, access the university's websites, use the electronic library, etc., and they have all rights when visiting the university in London and a reduction in fees if students decide or choose to study one or more semesters in London, pointing out that travel is not compulsory as the dual certificate is granted to students upon completion of study at a Faculty of Engineering in Egypt while adhering to the quality standards stipulated in the agreement.
During the visit, the delegation praised the systems in place at the Faculty of Engineering, the quality of education and learning methods, and it was agreed on the axes of development and future visits of professors from the University of East London to teach and train at the Faculty, in order to create an atmosphere similar to what is available for British students in London.
