Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, inspected the committees for academic postgraduate examinations (diplomas - pre-masters - pre-doctoral degrees) for the academic year 2020/2021, which started on Saturday, May 29 and continues until Saturday, July 21, 2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, under the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business.
Prof. Hiyam Wahba said that the exams are held only on Saturdays every week during two periods separated by a sterilization period of not less than two hours, and a set of rules and precautionary procedures have been approved and announced to all students before the start of the exams, and these rules included the necessity for students to adhere to wearing masks and medical gloves Noting that the number of students in the committees has been reduced and the spacing is taken into account in order to preserve the safety of students in light of the second wave of the spread of the new Corona virus.
Her Excellency indicated that a number of controls have been emphasized, including: not to include the mobile phone inside the examination committee, the distribution of students' entry to the examination committees from more than one gateway to take into account the lack of overcrowding and overcrowding, the continuous sterilization of the examination committees and the roads, and the places of the committees have also been announced online through the official website of the Office of the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and the official page of the Graduate Studies Department on the social networking site, as well as the presence of students an hour before the exam in the college and measuring students ’temperatures using thermal reagents upon entry and inside the committees, providing sterilizers from alcohol inside the buildings to sterilize students, reduce the number of Examiners within the committees and to provide a distance between each student and another, also to prevent the exchange of tools between students, and to prevent presence in the squares of faculties and gatherings.
The academic postgraduate examinations witnessed nearly (2949 male and female students) presenting the exams, representatives of (2446 male and female students) at the diploma stage, (328 male and female students) at the master's stage, (175 male and female students) at the doctoral stage, and no cases of injury were recorded. Corona virus among students and observers during the first day of the exams held.
It is worth noting that the postgraduate professional examinations will be held on Fridays only of each week, starting from Friday, June 18, 2021 approval, and continuing until Friday, July 2, 2021, and it is expected that about (753 students) will perform professional certification exams in the fields of business administration and accounting.
