Prof. Dr. Sahar Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University, announced the launch of the exams marathon for all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate studies for the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021, from June 5 to 23 of this month.
She explained that a proactive integrated insurance plan and strict precautionary measures had been developed to confront the repercussions of the Corona virus and preserve the safety and security of its students.
Examinations will be held three days a week for each group divided into two daily periods.
Where exams are held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Sahar Musa Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Sahar Yassin, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Siham Gerges, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Dr. Sahar Mousa explained that the implementation of the integrated proactive insurance plan and strict precautionary measures is carried out through (5) higher committees that were formed under the chairmanship and membership of the Faculty’s vice deans for education, students, community service and environmental development, in cooperation with the heads of academic departments, heads of controls and various departments, the faculty units, headed by the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, the Measurement, Evaluation and Exams Unit, the Civil Defense Department, Security, Safety and Occupational Health at the Faculty, and these committees are a committee to follow up on the examination process, a medical care committee, a guard and security committee, a committee for various services, a committee to follow up on precautionary measures and the mission of these committees The basic principles are to remove all obstacles in front of students and complete the exam process successfully while achieving maximum safety for the Faculty students during the period of their exams, and a package of preventive precautionary measures has been put in place to ensure the safety of all participants in the examination work, including students, faculty members and Faculty employees.
