The Student Services Center with Disabilities, in cooperation with AMIDEAST and Helm Company, organized a training course entitled (Disability Awareness) for university students, faculty members, and disability coordinators in student affairs and public relations in different faculties, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Services Center for Students with Disabilities, in cooperation with Helm Company, it was coordinated by Mrs. Dalia Mohamed Al-Swaify, and follow-up by Mr. Ihab Al-Masry , training department, where the two-day training course witnesses the training of trainees to realize and meet the challenges facing students with disabilities and communicate with students in order for trainees to better understand the challenges faced by persons with disabilities to perform their daily tasks independently, as well as to train to better communicate with persons with disabilities. In addition to some activities, such as: one-handed challenge, wheelchair challenge and Braille code decoding activity.
It is worth mentioning that the Service Center for Students with Disabilities was established in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ain Shams University and AMIDEAST.
