The President of Ain Shams University inaugurates the new constructions at the Faculty of Arts

Today Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, inaugurated the teaching rooms of the new distinguished programs at the Faculty of Arts, which include the Inter-English Studies Program, the Hebrew and Israeli Studies Program, the Geomatics Digital Technology Program, and the Hindi Language Program. He was accompanied during the opening by Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Yasser Meghid, Director of the University's Engineering Consultation Center, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ms. Eman Mahmoud, Secretary of the Faculty and Structural Engineers.

         
   
         
   

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini praised the quality and mastery of the construction and engineering works on time, and the quality of the equipment. He also inspected the Faculty library, and praised the encyclopedias, books and scientific theses that it had; Which makes it a priority in renewal and development in the next renewal plan.

The renovations taking place in the Faculty of Arts are a continuation of the development and constructional renovations taking place in all faculties and centers of Ain Shams University and at all levels within the framework of the strategy of renewal and development in infrastructure and logistics, which is a key factor in raising the quality of the educational process and the university's international classification.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that the library witnessed many developments in the field of digitization, as most of the scientific theses, academic and cultural books and scientific encyclopedias were entered on an expanded database, where about 146 thousand books and scientific theses were entered, and the rest of the books and scientific theses were being entered. This is in addition to the presence of a digital library in the Faculty.
