Higher Education: Extending the period of aptitude tests until next Monday

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the extension of the period of aptitude tests for students who obtained a high school certificate until next Monday, August 23, in the interest of the future of our students.

For his part, Mr. El-Sayed Atta, Head of the Education Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and General Supervisor of the Coordination Office, announced that the number of applicants for aptitude tests has so far reached 165,000 students on the coordination website https://tansik.egypt.gov. eg/application/ for the new academic year 2021-2022, stressing that the door for aptitude tests will not be opened again, in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities.

Mr. Atta called on the students to adhere to the deadlines for aptitude tests scheduled for August 23 as a last chance for all students wishing to apply for these tests.

Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Media Adviser and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry, indicated that the colleges that require admission that the student must pass aptitude tests as a condition for joining them for the 2021/2022 academic year, include faculties of media, faculties of applied arts at universities (Helwan, Damietta, Benha, Beni Suef), and fine arts in my department. (Arts and Architecture), the Faculties of Music Education and Art Education in Zamalek, Helwan University, the Faculty of Art Education at Minya University, and my divisions (Art Education and Music Education, and the Educational Theater Division) in the Faculties of Specific Education at Mansoura University and its two branches “Mitt Ghamr, Minya El-Nasr”, and my divisions (Art Education, and Music Education) in the Faculties of Education, the Suez and Suez Universities, in addition to the faculties of Physical Education, and the faculties affiliated with the new universities of technology, namely: (New Cairo University of Technology, Delta Technology University, the Egyptian-Korean Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at Beni Suef University, as well as faculties of nursing, technical institutes of nursing and faculties of Tourism and Hotels.
