Ain Shams University campaign for compulsory vaccination against the Corona virus for faculty staff and employees at the Faculty of Arts

The Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University receives the expanded medical campaign to vaccinate against the Corona virus, which is organized by Ain Shams University represented by the Medical Administration and starts from Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, confirmed that the university is launching this expanded campaign within the framework of the state's preventive plan to confront the Corona virus, with the directions of the ministries of health and higher education and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and his strict instructions to vaccinate all university employees against the Corona virus, in order to be wary of expectations that confirm the spread of the Delta Plus virus in the coming period.

"Mortada" said that the faculty seeks to vaccinate all its members as soon as possible before the beginning of the new school year, through a number of procedures that make it easier for faculty staff, employees and workers to receive the vaccine, and these facilities are to bring the vaccines to the faculty headquarters instead of individuals going to the university hospital in order to save time and effort, with the provision of refrigerators to store the vaccines, in addition to allocating a team of doctors affiliated with the faculty medical center to carry out this task.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, stated that she agreed with Dr. Ahmed Hindawi, Director General of the University's Medical Administration, Dr. Ghada Abu Al-Rish, Director of the Faculty’s Medical Center, Dr. Nora Samir Khader, the consultant at the center, and Mrs. Eman Mahmoud, the Faculty’s Secretary, stressed the most important requirements for pre-processing the campaign in order to complete the campaign as quickly as possible and achieve its desired goals. Names and data of faculty staff, employees and workers who have not previously taken the vaccine, and then divide them into groups throughout the week, and the names are listed in the lists alphabetically, not according to departments and departments to ensure that overcrowding does not occur, and departments and sections are not closed at the same time to maintain business continuity the schedules of names and the dates specified for the presence of individuals, each according to their order in the schedule, are announced on the website, the official page of the faculty, and WhatsApp groups.

Also, the "Adab al-Safli" Auditorium was chosen for its ability to accommodate the largest number of people and to achieve the necessary ventilation. The campaign is present in the runway daily from nine in the morning until five in the evening.
