The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University received the expanded medical campaign to implement the plan to confront the expected fourth wave of the new Corona virus covid19, and its metaphors, according to the time map presented by the Egyptian state, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Population, and the Ministry of Education Higher Education, to implement a proactive plan to confront the repercussions of the virus during the events of the new academic world 2021/2022.
Where it was issued by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decision to provide all capabilities to implement a tight plan to provide vaccines to all university affiliates, including faculty staff, the supporting staff, and workers, before the beginning of the new academic year, and formed a higher committee under the supervision of a preventive medical team headed by Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of Hospitals, and Head of the Infection Control Unit at the university, to implement an expanded deployment process by specialized medical teams equipped with all the necessary capabilities to save vaccines from cars equipped with refrigerators to store vaccine packages, and spread them in the university faculties to vaccinate all its employees in their workplaces to ensure that the work wheel is not disrupted In addition to saving time and effort for university employees and not crowding them in one place.
Pof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, was at the reception of the medical team after she coordinated between the various departments of the faculty from the community service and environmental development sector, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Sector Affairs, Faculty Affairs, Personnel Affairs and the Faculty’s Medical Clinic, to prepare an inventory of the names of the faculty members, the supporting staff, and the faculty staff, who have not previously received vaccination doses, and dividing them according to lists to ensure that workflow is not disrupted and overcrowded, as well. A laboratory on the first floor was also allocated to be a headquarters for hosting the medical campaign and to provide places for keeping vaccines and means of disposing of tools used during the vaccination process with the knowledge of the university’s infection control team. A proactive plan has also been developed in cooperation with the Department of Security and Civil Defense at the faculty to ensure good organization according to the highest levels of security and stability while receiving vaccination doses for the faculty 's affiliates.
Receiving vaccinations continues from nine in the morning on Wednesday, the first of September, until five in the evening, amid strict precautionary measures, with the knowledge of the college administration.
