Faculty of Law announces the admission requirements for the French department in partnership with the University of Lyon

The Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, announced the start of accepting the French department for the new batch for the academic year 2021/2022 from students who obtained the Egyptian high school or its equivalent, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, who is acting as Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, explained that the conditions for applying include:

1- The student must have obtained a high school certificate for the current year

2- That his total qualifies him for admission to the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University (regularity).

3- The student must pass a written and oral test in the French language, which is conducted by the French Cultural Center in Cairo

4- The student obtains Delf B2

The written test will be on Tuesday 14/9

Oral exam on Thursday 16/9

Note that the final coordination of students is done by taking into account the following:

The overall high school grades

French language degree

Delf B2

Written and oral test score

Documents required when applying

A copy of the high school form (both sides)

A copy of the nomination letter form.

Birth certificate copy.

The French Department at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, is one of the legal studies departments in the French language, which is distinguished at the level of the Egyptian state, it was established in cooperation and partnership with the University of Lyon (3) in France twenty years ago, and studies are conducted in French, English and Arabic by a distinguished elite of French and Egyptian faculty staff, and about sixteen batches have graduated from the department, currently occupying prestigious positions in various State institutions and the private sector, including universities, judicial bodies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and major law firms, among others.

The French Department at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University is keen to provide the student with many knowledge, skills and experiences that give him a great competitive advantage in the local, regional and global labor market, including scientific research skills, logical thinking and analysis, and the use of modern technology in learning, which ultimately qualifies him to hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from Ain Shams University, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lyon (3) in France.

The French department offers its graduates the opportunity to obtain a master's degree in law from France, either through a group of distinguished scientific missions abroad or by continuing studies in the same department.
