The Faculty of Law launches a convoy to eradicate illiteracy in the Amiriya district in Cairo

In light of the great attention paid by the administration of Ain Shams University to the literacy program, the Faculty of Law launched its convoy to eradicate adult illiteracy in cooperation with the Cairo Governorate, the head of the Amiriya district, and the General Authority for Adult Education.

Where the faculty students spread throughout the neighborhood to educate the citizens about the importance of eradicating illiteracy, and many citizens responded to this unprecedented initiative, which demonstrated the cohesion of the university with the community, these efforts resulted in the performance of nearly three hundred students for the literacy test at the Martyr Mohamed Sabri Al-Farmawy School (formerly the Amiriya Preparatory School for Boys).

         
   
         

This convoy took place under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Major General Khaled Abdel-Aal, Governor of Cairo, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Nagy Abdel-Moamen, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Ashour Omari, President of the Commission for Education Adults, and Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Adult Education Center.

The convoy was bid farewell before its departure, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Shafei, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law of Community Service and Environmental Development, and was accompanied by Dr. Omar Ramadan Jalal, Director of the Literacy Unit at the faculty.
