The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University has launched admission tests for graduate students applying for the fall semester 2021 in the various stages of graduate studies, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, amid intense precautionary measures.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, explained that 280 students applied to join the diploma and doctorate departments in the faculty, in addition to 22 students who applied to join the Translation Technology Program, a program that was launched this year in the Department of English, which aims to consolidate inter-studies in the field of languages, translation and computer science, and Preparing cadres that combine linguistic and technological knowledge and translation skills.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, conducted an inspection tour of the committees to ensure that the rules of social distancing were applied among students, as students were distributed to a number of halls with a number of 15-20 students in each hall, and all roads and halls where tests were conducted.
He pointed out that the written admission exams are held over a period of 3 days from September 19 to 21, followed by oral exams on September 26, after which successful students are enrolled in the written and oral exams.
