Ceremony honoring the participants in the medical convoy of the Graduate of Childhood for people with special needs in Al-Moski district

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal Abdel Raouf, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki, Director of the Center for the Care of People with Special Needs, a ceremony was organized to honor the participants in the comprehensive medical awareness convoy for children with special needs and their families, in the Hall of Martyr Islam Mashhour, the fifth floor of the Special Needs Care Center, which was organized by the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, which was held in Al-Mosky district last Tuesday at Al-Ruwai’i School, in cooperation with the Al-Mosky District Presidency.

         
   
         

During the celebration, which was held at the Special Needs Care Center, all the doctors, specialists and administrators participating in the convoy were honored, in addition to some children of determination who achieved sporting achievements, as Prof. Dr. Howayda Al-Gebali, Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahki gave them certificates of appreciation to motivate them and push them to lasting success and continuous progress.

A documentary film of the activities of the convoy was also shown. The film included a report on the number of cases, recommendations and the future outlook for the services provided by the center for children at the level of the Republic.

It is worth noting that a large number of doctors and specialists provided free medical services to about 200 people with special needs in various specialties, including pediatric neurology, psychiatry, speech therapy, audiology, heart ultrasound to detect congenital defects and valve problems, sound waves on the brain and abdomen in children, detection of motor disabilities, measurement of intelligence level, detection of learning difficulties, autism, behavior modification, family counseling, self-care and skills development, and a number of professors presented a series of educational seminars directed For several categories of civil society about the art of dealing with different types of children through several axes, social, psychological, behavioral and educational.
