The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University organized a graduation ceremony for the batch 2019/2020-2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the College, with the application of preventive measures to confront the repercussions of the new corona virus covid19.

Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, former president of Ain Shams University, said that the future is promising for Al-Alsun graduates, stressing that Ain Shams University is rich in a unique faculty, Al-Alsun, which is one of the oldest scientific schools in the Arab world, where it was established by the venerable scientist Rifaa Al-Tahtawi, in order to prepare the state and the army as teachers. Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, said that the past year witnessed difficult times in the wake of the Corona pandemic, which made us all students and professors, collide with events that changed the features of human life. She stressed that working in the field of languages ​​is not limited to a specific job, road or field, but there are countless areas such as teaching, translation, tourism, trade, diplomacy and technology.

The faculty also spared no effort in providing the necessary support to its students through the development of infrastructure, halls and laboratories and the application of hybrid education standards using an electronic platform efficiently and effectively to overcome this difficult period.

Prof. Dr. Yomna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, said that the graduation day remains a memory that accompanies the journey of life and a starting point towards broad horizons and broad hopes.

She pointed out that the experiences and knowledge that the students acquired during their studies at the college came through the high-level educational aspect at the hands of a group of language professors around the world. Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, director of the university’s alumni department, and head of the university’s alumni association, explained that the alumni association at Ain Shams University is the largest association at the university level since its inception in 1950, and aims to create continuous channels of communication between alumni and the university, as the association works to provide services to graduates from By developing their capabilities and providing them with all the updated expertise to meet the requirements of the labor market through training workshops, seminars and new training programs, it also works to provide job opportunities for graduates in major Egyptian and international companies.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of Dr. Nahla Rahel, a teacher in the Department of Hebrew Language, on the occasion of her receiving the Theater Prize in Literary Criticism for the Supreme Council of Culture for the year 2021, and the graduates were honored and handed over their graduation certificates.
