The Faculty of Archeology receives its new students in preparation for the university year

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Hossam Hosni, Secretary of the Faculty, the Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University received new students of the faculty for the academic year 2021/2022 in divided batches according to the alphabet to prevent crowding and in application of precautionary measures and social distancing, where the medical examination of students is carried out at the Medical Center at the Faculty of Science, in conjunction with receiving the vaccine through the vaccination point in the same center.

         
   
         

This was followed by the students handing over their files to the faculty’s student affairs in preparation for dividing, and indeed they were distributed to the different programs according to the order of desires and the total sum of the high school. score, while setting the minimum score for admission to the Islamic Archeology Program at less than 322.

The Faculty of Archeology offers five credit-hour programs, namely ancient Egyptian antiquities, Greek and Roman antiquities, and Islamic antiquities, in addition to archeology and excavation sciences programs, and museum and archaeological site management, which are expense-related programs and do not require certain conditions except to obtain the minimum grades for the antiquities sector.
