The Spanish Department of the Faculty of Al-Alsun organizes an orientation day for newcomers

The Spanish Department of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, organized the introductory meeting for the new first year students of the semester system, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Saghir, head of the department, taking into account the application of preventive measures to confront the repercussions of the new corona virus covid19.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Saghir, after which Prof. Dr. Yomna Azmy, Assistant Professor in the department, notes that university life is very different from school education; Since the university is the last place in which the conscience and personality of the student is formed before leaving the labor market and society, she talked about field training, pointing to the diversity of student activities in the Youth Welfare Department, and the importance of active participation in them to discover their talents as well as developing their Spanish language abilities in the department, pointing to the department’s annual activities and an invitation The embassies of the Spanish-speaking countries organize the cultural week with the participation of the students of the department to provide them with linguistic expertise through direct interaction with its speakers.

         
   
         

Dr. Noha Abdel Meguid, dealt with the texts in the department, their importance, how to study them, and the extent to which students benefit from them from the linguistic and cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries.

Dr. Marwa Mustafa, talked about the regulation and the application of quality within the college and its impact on improving the level of educational services provided to students and the electronic platform.

Dr. Noha Al-Hag Hassan, spoke about linguistics and its teaching methods in the department for students, while Dr. Maryam Makki referred to the article and the readings, and stressed the necessity of attendance and regular follow-up to the lectures, while Ms. Mai Omar, the department's teaching assistant, discusses the literacy project and its importance in university life, which is one of the conditions for graduation to eradicate the illiteracy of four people over the four academic years.
