Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shahira Mousa, Vice Dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohammed Hassan, Executive Director of Information Technology at the University, conducted an inspection tour inside the Central Computer Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine, where the second evaluation test was conducted for the 218 students.
Prof. Dr. Al-Matini explained that the test comes under the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research sponsored by Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar to apply the standardized test to students in the medical sector, in order to ensure their evaluation according to unified standards that meet international standards.
The test is characterized by its ability to measure the skills of students in different fields accurately and effectively, without any human intervention. As well as it provides a safe environment for students in terms of ensuring the stability of electronic testing, and to prevent any attempts to cheat, in addition to the correction of the test is done electronically to ensure transparency, impartiality and discrimination, pointing out that this is the second pilot phase of the test in preparation for generalization.
He added that the implementation of this experience coincides with the announcement of the year 2019 years of education to ensure the introduction of a high-level graduate in line with global developments in the world of medicine.
