The Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, launched Student Families Festival with a series of activities and events under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the implementation of the Youth Welfare Department headed by Neamat Khalifa, the Student Union headed by student Muhammad Hamdi and his deputy, student Rawda Al-Ajmi.
The festival opened its activities with a presentation queue presented by the Faculty's mobile team. The festival activities also included several competitions, including: the information league, chess, art competitions including (art works, drawing, photography) and sports competitions, including table tennis and rust.
On the level of the various activities of the committees of the Youth Welfare Department, which received a great turnout from the students, several student competitions were held, which included the “Information League” competition, in which 16 teams compete, and the team consists of 4 students, and through the competition several questions are asked about the general culture, Sports, history, geography, science, literature, art.

As for the Cultural Committee, it has put forward the “Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Qur’an” competition, and the competition is about memorizing 3, 5 or 7 parts of the Holy Qur’an, and it is judged by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tawoos, Professor, Department of Arabic Language and Literature.
The technical committee also presents the "Singing competition".
Dr. Mustafa Mortada expressed his happiness with the return of student activities after the cautious reduction in the previous period to limit the spread of Corona, and he also called on all Faculty students to allocate part of their time to participate in the various activities offered by the Faculty through the Youth Welfare Department.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel thanked the Dean of the Faculty for his continuous support for all student activities, which positively affects the students, and the winning students will be rewarded in the first, second and third places in each competition.
