The launch of the annual conference of the French Mediterraneen Association in Ain Shams University

Ain Shams University hosted the annual conference of the French Mediterraneen Association, on passing thirty-year anniversary of the establishment of the association, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Nagy Abdel-Momen, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamdi, Director of the French Division at the University's Faculty of Law.

Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Hamid, Vice President of the Society and Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the British University stated that the conference, which will be held during the period from October 31 to November 2, will be held at the Faculty of Arts under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, and witnesses the participation of 30 professors from universities in the Mediterraneen basin, in addition to remote (online) participation, this year's conference deals with the cultural and legal aspects of hegemony - a comparative study between ancient and contemporary civilizations.

It is worth mentioning that the French Mediterraneen Society was established in 1991 at the University of Paris and its current headquarters is at the University of La Rochelle. Its conference was held in 2003 in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a symbol of the Mediterraneen basin.
