Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud EL-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Chair of the BoD of Middle East Research and Future Studies Center and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Moanes, the Center’s Director and Conference General Rapporteur, today, Wednesday, the Today, Wednesday, the events of the international conference “Egypt and Sustainable Development in the Nile Basin Countries and Africa” kicked off. It was held by the Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies within the framework of the cultural season for the year 2021-2022
The Conference discusses several themes including: the important mechanisms, strategies and national and international treaties concerned with achieving sustainable development in Nile Basin Counties and Africa on the economic, social, political and aquatic levels which guarantees achieving the fruitful and effective co-operation between the region’s countries and reaching their developmental goals for better future for all peoples.
Elite of great thinkers and specialized professors, from Egypt and several Arab Countries, participate in the Conference.
