The Faculty of Business welcomes the newcomers amid strict precautionary measures

The Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University organized a ceremony to receive freshmen amid strict precautions, as part of a series of events to receive the new academic year at the faculties of Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abd El-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Shaheen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Abd El-Alim, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service. The celebration began with raising and saluting the flag on the faculty campus.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry welcomed the faculty students, emphasizing the keenness of the faculty administration to encourage students to participate effectively in all student activities in addition to academic events because of their effective role in building the student’s personality and granting it all the scientific and practical experiences that qualify it to keep pace with the needs of the labor market efficiently and distinctly, noting that the student is the ambassador of its faculty and university, who represents it in front of other universities and in the labor market.

     
     

He called on students to abide by all precautions, including wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing, stressing the university administration's keenness on the safety of students, as it provided vaccines in addition to the preventive measures that are followed in all university faculties such as continuous sterilization of stands and others.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry also confirmed that the university has developed an full plan to vaccinate all students in line with the directions of the State of Egyptian, and has provided 13 vaccination points inside the university, in parallel with the efforts of the Ministries of Higher Education and Health, explaining that the university points operate throughout the week from 9 am. until the end of the day.

He called on students who did not get vaccinated to register their names through the link provided by the university, and through the Ministry of Health website to obtain the vaccine.
