Prof.  Dr.  Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Major General Ehab El-Far, President of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, signed a cooperation protocol for the construction of Ain Shams National University at the entrance of the Administrative Capital from Ain Sukhna Road, on an area of ​​192 acres, with a total value of 18 billion EGP in three phases, in the presence of Prof.  Dr.  Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.  Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof.  Dr.  Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
 It is worth mentioning that Ain Shams National University will be established according to an unconventional vision called the Valley of Learning and Innovation, as it depends mainly on linking education and scientific research with industry and labor market requirements through the Technology Oasis, with its research centers, technology incubators and startups through partnership with industry partners, over an area  30 acres working alongside the education, training and scientific research system for academic programs that stimulate innovative youth, whether at the undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and in accordance with the requirements of the local, regional and global market.
