Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, received Prof. Dr. Albrecht Vos from Philip University in Marburg, Germany, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Shouki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abd El-Razek El-Najjar Assistant Professor of Restoration, Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, and Dr. Hala Hashem Ghoneim, coordinator of the agreement.
The meeting was held to discuss cooperation aspects between the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University and Philip Marburg University in Germany within the framework of the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the two parties and approved by the University Council on 30th September year 2021. This was said by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shouki, Vice Dean of the Faculty, explained that this meeting is a prelude to receiving a delegation of representatives of the agreement from Germany at the end of this November. During this upcoming meeting, details of the aspects of cooperation and setting the timetable will be discussed, pointing out that the fields of cooperation vary between restoration, archiving and heritage preservation. This is in addition to the development of joint educational programs.
