under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maha Nasr, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty, a symposium was held on the relationship between biochemistry and nutrition between academic work and industry, and a presentation was made by Prof. Dr. Engy Hached, assistant professor at the Department of Biochemistry at the German University and a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University in 2003.
Dr. Engy participated in the symposium by talking about her journey from obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University to her academic and research work, her choice as a consultant for therapeutic foodstuffs in pharmaceutical companies, and a consultant for the Hero Company for children’s nutrition, as part of a series of “Meet our Alumni” seminars held by the Faculty During the academic year 2021/2022.
The symposium aims to enrich the research and knowledge experiences of faculty members and students, and to qualify students for the labor market considering the presence of many new fields of work.
