Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, Dr. David Anderson, Professor at the Department of Archeology and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, USA, and Dr. Louise Bertini, Executive Director of the American Research Center in Cairo, received Prof. Dr. Mohamed Samir Hamza, a former professor at the College of Science and a cultural advisor in Washington, D.C.
The visit comes to discuss aspects of cooperation between the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University and the University of Wisconsin. Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty said that the aspects of cooperation include financing the laboratories of the Faculty of Archeology as well as the development of joint educational programs accredited by Ain Shams University and the University of Wisconsin and other fields.
