Within the framework of the National Translation Center’s keenness to open to all cultures and support all translators, the Center, headed by Dr. Karma Sami, in cooperation with the Mexican Embassy in Cairo, launched for the first time a competition for the translation of Mexican fictional literature, with the aim of revealing the translators’ talents and building bridges of communication through translation and transfer of culture Mexico to the Arab reader.
Among its conditions, the competition includes those participants have Egyptian citizenship, and the competition is available to individuals up to 45 years by the end of 2021, and the Mexican embassy provides, for translators wishing to participate, the work specified for the competition by communicating with it via its official email:
Works submitted until the closing date of March 1, 2022, are accepted
