Where Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, inspected the Faculty Student Union elections committees, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abd El-Al, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, where Faculty students compete for the seven union committees, which are the Student Families Committee, the Social Committee, the Sport Committee, the Scientific Committee, the Cultural and Media Committee, the Mobile Committee, the Public Service and the Technical Committee, and elections are held for the first and third teams.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed during her tour that the electoral process is going smoothly and she praised the students' participation in the voting process and their following the electoral instructions to ensure correct votes. She pointed out that student unions are a legitimate channel for expressing students' thoughts and opinions, and the field of sound democratic practice that achieves a distinct educational product with a well-integrated personality. They are educational and scientific groups. They are also multi-level unions that work to support target principles, values and objectives. The student union establish the principle of citizenship in a simple and uncomplicated way, which is the affiliation of a person to a piece of land, i.e. a person who is permanently settled within the state or holds its nationality, participates in the government, is subject to the laws issued by it, enjoys equally with the rest of the citizens a set of rights and is committed to performing a set of duties towards The state to which he belongs, and from this point of view we can delve into the concept of citizenship and the consequent foundations and how to grant citizenship and other concepts that we have not practiced in our daily lives, i.e. a relationship between individuals and the state, as determined by the law of that state and what this relationship includes of duties and rights in that state. On his part, Prof. Dr. Nasser Abd El-Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, mentioned that the electoral process is a miniature exercise of the democratic process that aims to qualifying new cadres and leaders for political and social life after graduation, capable of meeting the needs of the Egyptian state. It is noteworthy that the electoral marathon for student unions at Ain Shams University was launched under the supervision of the Higher Committee for Supervising Student Union elections headed by Prof. Dr. Abd El-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and the General Supervisor of the Student Union Elections at the University, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Hisham Al-Hariri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, professor at the Faculty of Business and the university's liaison officer, and Mr. Muhammad El-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of University Cities and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Malik, Acting Director General of Legal Affairs, student Mustafa Rayan in the fourth year of the Faculty of Business, and the student Omniah Ashraf in the third year of the Faculty of Business.
