Within the framework of the cultural season for the year 2021/2022 at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition in the faculty, organized a symposium entitled (Nutrition, psychological state and mood) under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the Faculty conference hall, taking into account all precautionary measures to confront the Corona virus.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Huda Mohamed Ismail, teacher of biochemistry and nutrition, Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition, in the presence of many students and faculty members of the faculty.
In the symposium, Dr. Huda presented the different types of foods that are related to improving the mood and mood, pointing to the relationship of food to the psychological state and mood, while presenting examples of foods that improve the psychological state and mood.
