The Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University is organizing a conference entitled "Legal and Economic Aspects of Anti-Corruption", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, at exactly nine o’clock tomorrow morning, Monday, January 3, 2022, in the hall of Prof. Dr. Abdel Ahad Gamal El-Din at the faculty, taking into account all precautionary measures.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, said that the conference will be attended by a group of specialists and professors, during which several research will be presented through four sessions, noting that the first session is entitled “Humanitarian, legal and economic considerations and their role in preserving the components of society from corruption” headed by Prof. Dr. El-Sayed. Attia, Professor of Political Economy, during which six research papers will be presented.

As for the second session, it will be entitled "The Oversight Bodies and Their Role in Confronting Corruption" and will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Ramzi El Shaer Professor of Public Law and includes six papers.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi added that "Procedural Justice and Reducing Corruption Practices" is the title of the third session, which includes four research papers. The session is chaired by Prof. Dr. Taha Awad Ghazi is Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy and History of Law and Vice Dean of the Faculty.

The last session is entitled "Anti-Corruption Mechanisms at the International Level and Comparative Legislation” and includes six other research papers. The session is chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Professor of Public International Law and Dean of the Faculty.
