Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, met with Mr. Salim Musa Al-Talouli, responsible for university affairs and student activities at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo.
The two sides discussed, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Immigrants Department at the university, and Ms. Reham Al-Atifi, Director General of the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs at the university, a package of facilities provided by Ain Shams University to Palestinian students who received educational grants from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Mr. Salim Al-Talouli conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Counselor Nagy Al-Nagy, the cultural advisor of the embassy, and all the staff of the Palestinian embassy to Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Dr.. Abdel-Fattah Saud expressed his gratitude for cooperation in the educational and cultural aspect, stressing the university's full support for Palestinian students in line with the direction of the Egyptian state in supporting the fateful issues of the brotherly Palestinian people.
He stressed that the university’s senior administration does not deal with international students in isolation from our Egyptian students as a whole, pointing out that the university’s philosophy focuses on the involvement of international students in the university community and full coexistence with their Egyptian peers, which allows the exchange of visions, ideas, experiences and cultures between students each other.
He added that Ain Shams University is not only concerned with the academic aspect, but with student activities and character building in general. For his part, Mr. Salim Al-Talouli welcomed the joint cooperation between the Cultural Affairs Department of the Palestinian Embassy and the university in all cultural, artistic and other aspects.
Mr. Salim Al-Talouli thanked Ain Shams University for its care of Palestinian students and its constant work to overcome any difficulties facing students, praising the vital role played by the International Relations Department of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the university and the qualitative shift witnessed by the file of international students at Ain Shams University and effective and fruitful communication in everything that is in the interest of international students of different nationalities.
He congratulated the university for its leadership and excellence in the literacy project at the level of Egyptian universities.
On her part, Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi said that the senior management of Ain Shams University spares no effort in overcoming all the obstacles that may face international students at the university, believing in the importance of the role played by Egyptian educational institutions, especially universities.
The meeting also dealt with all aspects of living and daily life related to the Palestinian students, and the meeting concluded with taking souvenir photos.
