Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the University Mobility and Public Service Committee organized the training camp for University Rovers at Port Said International Camp for Scouts and Guides, during the period from 15 to 19 December under the slogan “Towards a Global Citizen”, and its activities were held with the participation of 100 mobiles. And roving clans of university faculties, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities and Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamdi Moussa, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Scouts and Guides.
The camp was held based on the concept of interest in student activities as a permanent element to develop the skills of the university student and aims to exchange experiences and fruitful and continuous cooperation.
As soon as the delegation of Ain Shams University roving arrived yesterday at the headquarters of the international camp in Port Said, Prof. Dr. Galal Salem, Vice President of Port Said University for Education and Student Affairs, held a cordial meeting amid a great welcome from Port Said University students, and fraternal meetings took place between the two sides that reflect the spirit, values and principles of the roving.
The training program, which is implemented under the supervision of a. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare at Ain Shams University, and a. Asmaa Ali Khater, Director of the University's Roaming Department, will provide training in technical, cultural, scouting skills, public service, volunteering and community development over a period of 5 days.
Participated in the camp, and the tours of the faculties of Arts, Law, Science, Computers and Information, Commerce, Education, Specific Education, Girls, Al-Alsun, Dentistry, Agriculture, Engineering and Nursing.
