Recent trends in nutrition... a symposium at the Faculty of Specific Education

The Government Excellence Team at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, held a symposium entitled "Modern Trends in Nutrition", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Amr Khalil, Vice Dean for Environmental Development and Community Service, and supervised by Dr. Mona Muhammad Al-Zanati, Coordinator of Government Excellence at the Faculty, in the presence of a large number of faculty members, the supporting staff, and students of the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed, in his opening speech, said that the symposium comes within the framework of spreading a culture of excellence, institutional development and developing nutritional awareness among students, explaining that the symposium’s axes are on the newly developed positive and negative trends in nutrition, and the types of diet developed and their impact on human health such as (keto diet, chemical regimen and intermittent fasting). And how to benefit from nutrition in coexistence with various diseases.
