The Faculty of Archeology holds a meeting for its students to introduce the examination instructions and how to prepare for them

The Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, held a meeting to introduce the instructions for the exams and how to prepare for them. The Quality Unit and the Measurement and Evaluation Unit participated in organizing it, in preparation for the first exams at the end of the first semester of the Faculty students, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Eldamaty, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Hossam Hosni, Secretary of the Faculty, and a group of faculty members, the administrative staff and the administrative staff.

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, met with a speech in which he urged students to adhere to precautionary measures during exams.

The Dean of the Faculty indicated that he will not be allowed to enter the exams until after making sure that the anti-Coronavirus vaccine has been received through approved certificates, in accordance with the decisions of the university in this regard.

         
   
         

Then Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the Faculty administration, in order to provide the appropriate atmosphere for students’ exams, formed several committees, including one for running, another for preparation and organization, a third for question and answer papers, a fourth for monitoring and observation, a fifth for monitoring, a sixth for investigations and legal affairs, and a seventh for services.

Mr. Hossam Hosni, Secretary of the Faculty, explained the procedures that most Faculty departments and units combine to provide to students in order to ensure their safety throughout the examination period.

In the word of Dr. Nawal Gaber, Head of Level One Control, talked about the instructions that students must abide by before, during and after exams, especially with regard to attending sufficiently time before the committee, sitting in the designated place for each student inside the committee, being careful to sign in the attendance lists, being completely calm and not bringing mobile phone stressed that whoever is caught with any of the means of preserving scientific material will be subject to legal accountability.

   
   

On her part, Dr. Nora Muhammad Hussein, Deputy Director of the Quality Unit at the Faculty, on how students prepare for exams, explaining that the mental and psychological preparation for the exam is the most important factor during that period in which many students suffer from anxiety and tension, which affects their academic achievement and performance during the exam. The Deputy Director of the Quality Unit indicated that Good sleep, proper nutrition, as well as physical activity, keeping away from distractions, taking enough rest during study, as well as practicing breathing exercises and drinking sufficient amounts of water, greatly help in keeping students calm and giving them more self-confidence as well as working their minds actively. greater, which reflects positively on achieving the best performance on the day of the exam.

Dr. Ghada Fayed, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, talked about “the art of dealing with the exam” showing the types of students in the exam, the types of questions and how to answer each of them, the procedures that the student takes to prepare himself before the exam, the best way to answer the exam by showing all the steps to be followed before answering the exam, during and after it, and also after the exam, and ended the meeting by distributing positive messages in folded papers to students urging them to succeed and excel.
