Ain Shams University wins first places in the UNESCO-ICHEI Online Education Competition

Ain Shams University won first and second place in the first competition of the International Center for Innovation in Higher Education under the auspices of UNESCO-ICHEI, and the International Institute of Online Education IIOE for the best training program for distance learning skills and the employment of technology in education.

   
   

Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel-Al, Executive Director of the Education Development Department and Professor of Public Health, Ain Shams University, won the first place, and Dr. Dalia Ahmed Youssef, Director of the Central Unit for E-Learning and Teacher of Histology at Ain Shams University, won the second place.

The competition aims to provide the best e-training programs in an opportunity to showcase and improve the expertise in e-learning and blended learning. More than 210 participants from 45 countries around the world participated and provided training programs at a high level of quality and innovation.

The evaluation was meticulously done by a panel of international experts according to specific criteria which are:

- Quality and originality of the content.

- Interaction and creativity.

- Relevance to the e-learning and blended teaching curriculum.
