Students of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University participated in the Huawei competition at the level of the Republic for the year 21-22, and they won three medals (gold, bronze, silver).
The competition was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and Dr. Yasmine Afifi, director of the Huawei Academy at the faculty, where 3 students won the gold medal:

- 6 students won the silver medal:
Islam Ahmed - Nouran Muhammad - David Magid - Abdel Rahman Midani - Bishoy Hani - Karolos Sameh Al-Shayeb
- 8 students won the bronze medal:
Basant Ashraf - Karim Metwally - Mahmoud Halloul - Karolos Yassa - Maryam Mahmoud - Muhammad Mustafa - Tarek Ali - Abdel Rahman Abdel Nasser
The student - Salma Moussa was also selected from among the 18 students who qualified for the next stage of Huawei Competition 2021/2022.
It is worth noting that a delegation representing the company was received to announce the competition in October 2021, in coordination with Dr. Yasmine Afifi, director of Huawei Academy at the faculty, and the details of registration and the various stages of escalation were announced.
The faculty congratulated its distinguished and outstanding students and wished them further progress and prosperity.
