A delegation from the roving clan of Ain Shams University participated in the folk crafts festival of Egyptian universities (the creative leader), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and a general supervision. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities.
The participation of the delegation of the scouts’ clan in the festival of folk crafts of Egyptian universities (the creative leader), which is held in the city of Aswan, which is organized by the Institute for the Preparation of Leaders under the slogan "My Country's Good", with the participation of 26 Egyptian universities in the period from 2: 4 of this February, and the festival aims to consolidate the idea of preserving cultural identity the Egyptian endeavor to establish small and micro projects based on these crafts in implementation of the vision of the political leadership in this regard, as folklore of all kinds is one of the main components of the Egyptian identity and the link between the past, present and future.
The students of the roving participate in a range of handicrafts (burning on the leather - Arquette - Drawing on wood - printing on cloth), and an art exhibition was held for the collectibles of the university roving, under the supervision of Prof. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University, and a. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare University, and Ms. Asmaa Ali Khater, director of the mobile department at the university.
