The Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, witnessed the first business roundtable for employers with the aim of appointing new graduates with higher qualifications in light of the current developments of the Corona pandemic, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty.
It was explained by Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, said that the meeting brought together representatives of 12 major Egyptian companies to explore their views on the needs of the labor market in light of the Corona pandemic to prepare students for the requirements of the labor market, in the presence of representatives of the American University, representatives from the International Labor Organization and the center’s work team, which is a team trained by specialized experts In the field of employment from the American University on the NCDA curriculum.
Prof. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, indicated that the aim of the roundtable is to come up with results and recommendations that will be used in curricula and courses in order to give the student skills that make him more competitive.
His Excellency also explained that the university is continuing in a series of continuous episodes to develop students' skills, for example, the university's establishment of the I hub, which is the center for creativity, innovation and skills development.
He also added that the university, during the coming period, will organize an employment forum to graduate a distinguished student who is qualified for the labor market, and this ultimately serves the interest of the national economy.
As Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry thanked Ain Shams Business Team, which won first place in the CFA Accredited Financial Analyst competition for the fourth time with the participation of 24 Egyptian public and private universities. This was thanks to the support and care of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education Affairs Students and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the effort of Prof. Hayam Wehbe, Professor of Investment and Finance, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and the main supervisor of the program, who was able to make a great effort to continue to achieve success in this important international program over many years and represent The team of the Faculty of Business of the Egyptian universities before that in the international competition in London, Dublin, and Zurich.
