The Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, witnessed the graduation of the eighth batch of Malaysian students according to the agreement concluded between the Faculty of Medicine and Malaysia, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Ambassador of Malaysia in Cairo, Mr. Zamani bin Ismail, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Affairs, Prof. Dr. Heba Allah Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Research. Dr. Naira Mustafa, the students' coordinator at the Faculty, the batch consists of 13 male students and 7 female students.
For his part, the Malaysian ambassador expressed his sincere thanks for what the Faculty provided to Malaysian students throughout the study period, and expressed his happiness with the Faculty's cultural activities, such as visiting the Museum of Civilizations to introduce them to the Egyptian culture.
Also Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, congratulated the students on their graduation, praised their efforts, and thanked the students' families for encouraging them to complete the course of study.
Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, encouraged, in his speech, students to train in Ain Shams University hospitals and conduct graduate studies in the Faculty.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Hibaullah Salem, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, praised Malaysian students for their passion for science and their commitment to the Faculty's rules.
Then Prof. Dr. Naira Mustafa, the coordinator of expatriates at the Faculty, delivered the doctors’ section and congratulated them on their graduation and their joining the medical work process.
