Within the framework of the Faculty of Business’s keenness to qualify its graduates for the labor market, the Faculty will hold an introductory symposium to obtain the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certificate, which is offered through one of the most important professional institutions in the world, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), on Wednesday. Corresponding to March 9, 2022 at 12 noon in Prof. Dr. Ali Lotfy hall, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty.
Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, said that the symposium will be delivered by Rishi Malhotra, Academic Director and Community Relations for the Middle East and Africa at IMA.
She pointed out that the CMA certificate is one of the most important and prominent professional certificates that graduates and employees around the world seek to obtain, which gives them the opportunity to achieve an increase in their income according to the statistics issued in this regard, at a rate of up to 67% compared to their peers who do not hold a certificate of certified management accountant. Therefore, the college, by communicating with the IMA, annually offers 10 free scholarships to obtain the CMA certificate.
She also explained that the aim of the introductory seminar was to explain the importance of obtaining a CMA certificate, its benefits, the procedures to be followed to obtain the certificate, the institute's membership and the time periods for obtaining the certificate.
It is worth noting that the CMA certificate is one of the important means for those interested in developing their career in the world of accounting and finance and would like to join a global network of more than 100,000 professionals in this sector.
