Nutritional strategies in health and disease... A lecture for students of the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Eldamaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the implementation of Mr. Tamer Tharwat Al-Assal, Director of Student Welfare Department, and the organization of the College Students’ Union, the Faculty of Archeology held on Wednesday, March 9th, a lecture entitled “Nutritional Strategies in Health and Disease” in which Prof. Dr. Bahgat Mostafa Edris, professor at Cairo University and training advisor at the Ministry of Health.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that this event comes within the framework of the development and implementation of training programs that the Faculty of Archeology is witnessing, including lectures and workshops aimed at contributing to the educational, social, cultural and sports preparation of students, and working to provide comfort and health, psychological and social stability to help students on scientific excellence under the supervision of specialists in various fields.

His Excellency added that other goals include educating and providing students with different information and training them in the art of listening, methods of asking questions and methods of meaningful dialogue, in addition to calm, order and discipline in punctuality.

Dr. Bahgat Mustafa Edris, at the beginning of the lecture, outlined the nutritional strategies for both health and disease, followed by an applied statement of the general framework of the various nutritional plans and transactions appropriate to the psychological conditions and the multiple social and environmental conditions in which people live and under which the human being in general and students, especially in the university education stage.
