Three gold medals and a silver medal were added to the credit of Ain Shams University in the Egyptian Universities Championship

The activities of the 49th Egyptian Universities Championship, Al-Shahid Rifai, which is held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, hosted by Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Ain Shams University continues to win the first places in the championship, where the student, Rana Nasr, won the ergometer championship (valley rowing) held at the American University with a gold medal in the 500m race, and a silver medal in the 1000m race

The university’s female volleyball team won first place and a gold medal after defeating its German counterpart team with a score of 3/0

         
   
         

The university's volleyball team also won first place and a gold medal after its victory over the Assiut University team with a score of 0/3

The women's basketball team qualified for the final round after defeating the Benha University team with a score of 43/11

The university’s female handball team also qualified for the final round after beating its counterpart from the Arab Academy in the semi-finals with a score of 41/32.

The competitions of the participating university teams will continue, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Sports Activity Department, under the supervision of a. Fatima Khalifa and Islam Abdul Azim and Prof. Dr. Suzan Barsoum and coaching by C. Ahmed Al-Mahdi, C. Yasser Abdel Hadi and C. Muhammad Hussain.
