The Faculty of Education discusses the historical roots of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, reading in the political scene

Within the framework of the events of the Seminar of the History Department for the academic year 2021/ 2022 AD, the department sponsored by Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, held a seminar entitled (The historical roots of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, a reading in the political scene).

The seminar was opened by Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, praising its consistency with current political events. Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean of the College, spoke about the importance of the students' contemporaneity with the current political events.

         
   
         

Major General Staff Nasr Salem War also dealt with the military planning of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and Major General Muhammad El-Shahawi reviewed the role of biological warfare in the war.

Then Prof. Dr. Gamal Shakra, Professor of Contemporary History, spoke about the expected future results of this war. Prof. Dr. Hala Khalaf, Head of the History Department concluded with the extent of the effects of this war on the economic level. She also thanked the fourth year students for their interest and discussion, and also thanked the Chairman of the Seminar Committee The author of the idea and the topic of the seminar is Prof. Dr. Gamal Shakra, and the members of the seminar committee from the teaching assistants and assistant teachers in the department, especially the assistant teacher Tarek Shams, the assistant teacher Noha Abdel-Aty, and the teaching assistants in the department Sayed Muhammad and Hadeer Ibrahim.

The seminar was attended by the faculty members of the department, the supporting staff, students of the history department and postgraduate students.
