The Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies at Ain Shams University will hold, within the framework of the center’s cultural season for the academic year 2021/2022, a symposium entitled “The Russian / Ukrainian crisis and its effects on Egypt and the Middle East” on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at eleven o’clock in the conference hall at the center.
This is under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mouns, Director of the Center.
The symposium will be moderated by Prof. Ashraf Mounis and attended by H.E. Ambassador Mohamed El-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Alaa El-Hadidi, former Egyptian ambassador to Russia, Prof. Dr. Tarek Fahmy Mohamed, professor of political science at Cairo University, and Dr. Eid Rashad, economics teacher at the Faculty of Commerce Ain-Shams University.
