This morning, the Board of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, in its 179th session, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Academy’s Board, and Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and Vice-President of the Board, and in the presence of all members of the Board, announced the names of the winners of state awards (Nile, Appreciation, Excellence, and Incentive), and the number of state awards granted this year amounted to 59 prizes to 58 scientists with a total of 5 million and 700 thousand pounds, in addition to gold and silver medals, which amount to about 2 million Egyptian pounds.
Ain Shams University congratulates its faculty staff and the teaching assistants for winning the State Appreciation Awards and wishes them more excellence and distinction.
Prof. Dr. Diaa Abdel Maged Khalil, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Engineering - Ain Shams University, the State Appreciation Award in Engineering Sciences 2021.
Prof. Dr. Manal Hamdy Mahmoud El-Sayed Professor at the Faculty of Medicine - Ain Shams University, the State Appreciation Award in advanced technological sciences in the field of medical sciences.

Dr. Hala Rashad Ahmed Mahmoud, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education, the State Incentive Award in the field of chemical sciences
