Ain Shams University receives the President of the University of Korean Cultural Heritage to discuss ways of joint cooperation

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, President of the University of Korean Cultural Heritage Kim Yongmo and his accompanying delegation, at the University’s Saffron Palace, in the presence of Prof. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology at the university, Prof. Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Sherweit Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriates Department at the University, and Professor Hossam Hosni, Secretary of the Faculty of Archeology.

         
   
         

The meeting comes to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of research and academic cooperation in the fields of heritage and preservation, in addition to discussing the various aspects of international cooperation in which the two institutions can cooperate.

         
   
         

It is worth noting that the meeting came after the delegation's visit to the Faculty of Archeology, where it was received by Prof. Mamdouh Eldamaty, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, former Minister of Antiquities and Head of the Department of Museums and Archaeological Sites, Prof. Ahmed Al-Shoki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, a. Dr.. Ali Abdel Halim, Head of the Department of Ancient Egyptian Antiquities and Prof. Dr.. Abdel Razek Al-Najjar, head of the Department of Archeology and Excavations, and a number of faculty members.

The delegation visited the Heritage Book Restoration Laboratory at the Faculty of Archeology, and aspects of cooperation in the field of heritage preservation were discussed. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, during the visit, the history of the Faculty of Archeology and the development of its activities in the field of heritage and preservation.
